Twisted Breadsticks with Herbs
Recently I lost my appetite a little bit (this is not something usual if I am not sick) and I don’t know why. Working for long hours and sleeping less might be the reason I guess. During the day I feel like I do not have time to think for a while, instead I have to get one thing done and continue with the next issue on the line. If your work day is something similar to mine you will figure out what I say. Each and everything is so “urgent” undermining the meaning of the word “urgent” (I hate this word and want to remove it from the dictionary? Let me call it the “U” word from now on). Sponge Cake with Apple Filling
Have you ever participated in a race even if you know that you won’t be the winner? For me, the answer is definitely “Yes!” and I should admit not just for once. Good part is that it provides the opportunity to maximize the fun you will get out of it without pushing yourself too hard. Considering the norms of modern life dictating us to compete with others, to win over, to become invincible with all similar “Impossible is nothing!” like mottos flying all over, sometimes it is relaxing to have “Enjoying is everything” attitude. Creamy Citrus Parfait
This winter I gave a promise to myself about not getting sick more than three times and up to know I got only once, which is an outstanding performance considering the unsteady weather conditions. I know that it might sound a bit nonsense but running outside instead of cold weather makes you more durable against chill. Besides, I consume much more vitamin C compared to previous years thanks to various members of citrus family, like clementine, orange, tangerine and the cutest of all, kumquat.
