Pumpkin Whoopie Pie with Elderberry Flavored Cream


There are some funny coincidences in life which are difficult to explain with a meaningful reason. For instance; it looks like whenever I am not in the mood for grocery shopping and I decide to make something with what I have in the fridge, this ”something” should be something with pumpkin. From now on I accept this as a ground rule for winter time cooking. So the rule worked like a Swiss clock and as in the previous year I found myself in front of vividly colored pumpkin slices again. Pesto Crepe with Mimolette Cheese Filling

What he said was quite obvious: ”Close your eyes and take a deep breathe.” and we all did the same without looking at each other as if we were about to witness something intimate. He continued with the same relaxed tone in his voice ”Think about someone you really love and visualize him/her right before you. Now concentrate on this moment and imagine that you are telling how much you really care”. Everyone who was present in the room that day returned from his/her short mental trip feeling relieved. Cooking in Paris

We got stuck in a congested Paris street with a car about to run out of gas anytime soon. I am not going to mention this story since I am trying to forget the exact moment I said “We have enough gas to make it to the city centre, no need to lose time with fueling up!”. By a miracle we managed to get there and I felt one of the biggest relieves I had experienced up to now. To my surprise, it looks like we were not late this time.
