Hi Fife, thanks for your kind words :) To be honest I have never tried to make cig kofte before since I am not very fond of it but maybe I should give it a chance.

This site looks great - please oh please post a recipe for making etsiz cig kofte. I have tried and tried to make it but I just can't get that wonderful taste from the shop bought versions.

Hi Saira,
I am glad that you liked the orange brownie. I am of course planning to post some traditional Turkish recipes. In fact, I already got the recipes, but the photograps were not that good, so I just kept them until I find time to take photos. So, whenever the photos are ready, I will post them!

Hi Ozhan:)

I am so glad I came across your blog! Just the other night I was thinking...hmm...I love orange and chocolate together and I love brownies so why not make orange brownies and here they are...my wish come true:)

I have a request for you. My husband and I went to Turkey for our honeymoon...from the U.S and we absolutely LOVED it! We were mostly in Istanbul..I miss it so dearly and hope to come by again someday. I miss the taste of every single thing I had. Everything from the fruit to the fish tasted fresh and nothing like I'd tasted before. I was wondering if you would be posting up any of the traditional recipes on here? pls? I would love to learn how to make traditional Turkish food...something to tie us over until we swing by again:)

Thanks so much,
Saira
